Sven Hammond's new album 'Cosmic Gold' is about connecting and love, about inspiration from the past that blossoms into the future. The band hopes to get people into motion; both physically as spiritually and they want to contribute to unify people, bring them together... because the universal language of music connects!

"This album is the result of six years of jamming, writing, building, playing live, try-out, chuck away and building up again. A long but creative process. We are very proud of the result that has been created with an enormous amount of passion, creativity and love. A good amount of the songs have become like good bottles of wine; they've had the time to ripe and develop. Some other songs have been written more recently and are also ready to be performed for a live audience" - Sven Figee
It all began 18 years ago and they are still going strong: Sven Hammond. Since its creation in 2006, main man and hammond organ player Sven Figee and his band of brothers (Joost Kroon on drums, Tim Eijmaal on guitar and Glenn Gaddum on bass) have played hundreds of shows, both in their home country The Netherlands, and abroad. They have 7 studio albums and 5 live albums under their name and still sound as fresh as ever.
Starting writing serssions in 2018 the band spend a lot of time in the studio with the band singers Jared Grant and John Harris. Writing about what captivates their hearts and thoughts and jamming it out in the studio, the new album "Cosmic Gold' has been created. First singles 'It's Alright' (including a house remix by UK DJ Felix Dickinson) and 'Come Closer'' have already left a great impression and loads of radio airplay. The band is very excited to release their new album and play it live on stage.
Cosmic Gold will be brought to the Dutch club stages this May 2025.
